As a municipality it is incumbent upon the political and administrative
leadership to provide what may be described as a vibrant local economy
that is able to sustain financial independence and growth and by so doing
and by ensuring that both local enterprises and community members are
empowered – creates a community of motivated and capable individuals
who themselves are able to contribute towards the growth and
sustainability of the community and the environment at large.
